gone r the days when the first drops of rain and the smell of raincoat welcomed a new session..............
when new books made us happy through their glossy covers an' pictures........
when discussions involved tiffins but no careers..........
when it felt good to sweat out on soccer field...........
when bicycles were the dream possesions...........
when uniforms were the articles of botheration.......
when life was all about a good impression on teachers........
when winters were being cursed to be so cold on early morning ride to school.........
when standing in the morning assembly without chatting was impossible.......
when 15th Aug. an' 26th Jan. were days of celebration......
when children's day an' teacher's day were not mere holidays.........
when national anthem was by heart..........
when ambitions were not limited to a job.............
when becoming president of India never seemed impossible........
when saturday with white dresses seemed unique..........
when inter house activties were questions of life and death.........
when summer brought with it the joy of end of sessions..........
an' the beginning of vacations !!!!!!!
when life was an enjoyment each an' every day, each an' every season.....when our souls were free to know ourselves !!!!!
